At Jeya Daï, we're committed to ethical fashion and reducing waste in the industry. That's why all of our JEYA DAï kimonos are up-cycled from pre-loved 100% pure saris, ensuring that each piece is unique and environmentally friendly.
We take great care in sourcing these 100% pure saris, selecting only the highest quality fabrics that have been previously worn by Indian women. While imperfections may exist in the fabric, we carefully craft each kimono but they can always have some imperfections that we choose to embrace, resulting in a stunning garment that is both stylish and sustainable.
In today's world where perfection is often prioritized over ethics, we believe that slow sustainable fashion is a statement of responsible choice. At Jeya Daï , we proudly carry the message that these saris have been passed down from one woman to another, symbolising the interconnectedness of all people and the importance of conscious choices.
We invite you to join us in our mission to create a better world, one garment at a time. Experience the beauty and sustainability of our JEYA DAï kimonos and make a positive impact on the planet with your ethical fashion choices.
How we work:
At Jeya Daï, we believe that every customer deserves a personalized experience when it comes to fashion. That's why our founder, Debbie, personally responds to each and every contact message we receive, working closely with you to craft a bespoke item that perfectly reflects your style and preferences.
Debbie begins by asking about your favorite colors and carefully listening to your wishes. Using this information, she sources the perfect silk fabric to create your bespoke kimono. Before crafting your garment, she presents you with different moods and styles to ensure that every detail meets your expectations.
We're proud to say that our approach to fashion is far removed from the fast-fashion industry, which values speed and quantity over quality and care. At JEYA DAÏ, we create a thread of care on different levels - from the personal attention we give to each customer, to our commitment to sustainability and ethical fashion practices.
We believe that fashion should be a source of joy and self-expression, and our bespoke kimonos are just one way we bring that vision to life. Let us work with you to create a garment that you'll cherish for years to come, and experience the beauty of slow, personalised fashion.
